My last taste of a Rose Bank Winery offering was a thoroughly disgusting Chardonnay. However, as I have been told, this winery is known for their Niagara, which is an interesting American varietal. Before this, I have only had one other Niagara, and that was from Chadds Ford Winery, also of Pennsylvania.

While this wine is not as smooth of refined as the offering by Chadds Ford, I would say that it has its merits, and that further down the line, I would expect that this winery will produce a more robust and sophisticated offering.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
